Fashioned from a dead fall apple tree, this item is definitely one of a kind. The bottom has some live edge and due to insects some of the sides are irregular in shape or have holes. To give the bowl a solid base, flack epoxy was used a fill. The finish is clear satin lacquer which shows all the different apple wood tones.
