This item was an experiment that is a success. The pecan log had a rotted center so it was removed and the outside bark was removed. What remained is what you can see in the images. The bottom of the basket is a pecan cross section from the same tree. Any place where a small sized trash basket is needed, this is a perfect fit. It has a satin lacquer finish.
